Religion Related to Oral Health?

Many people all over the world go to church, read the bible and do their best to keep the commandments. A dentist on Upper East Side says that keeping the mouth healthy and strong can actually be considered something religious. While people do their best to keep the Sabbath day holy, read the scriptures daily, go to church, follow the prophet and live their lives how they think they should, they often forget it's a commandment to keep you healthy.

In the bible it says that our bodies are temples and they should be treated as such. This means we should be careful with the things we eat and drink as well as making sure we take good care of our physical appearance. Smoking and drinking alcohol not only affect our bodies in a bad way but our teeth as well. For this very reason there are many religions that advise us to stay away from these harmful substances. Our appearance as well is important and our teeth are a big part of our appearance.

The dentist on Upper East Side says that while many people don't realize it, oral health is an important part of religion as well. We should always take good care of our health in the body and mouth if we want to be keeping all the Lords commandments. A good way to do this is through brushing and flossing and seeing a dentist when every year. Doing so will help us keep ourselves clean and pure.
